Programs Offered

To keep things very simple we offer 3 main programs. We sell On-Leash, On-Leash + and we sell Off-Leash Training.

We have 2 ways of training. We offer Done-With-You (DWY) and Done-For-You (DFY).

To get more insight into what each program does and the ways we train, please see Cert 1 Sales Funnel & Services. In there we give great descriptions of the programs, what they do, what the results are by the end, etc. We also discuss the differences between DWY and DFY.

If you’re not familiar with those items, we would recommend going back through that section before continuing this section.

Done-With-You (Week to Week):

In this program we see the client every week around 1x a week. You work WITH them and train the dog in-front of them, have them train in front of you and then give them homework for when you’re not there. This is ideal for families who want to be more hands on and involved in the training process.

In-Home Bootcamp:

This program is designed for families who want a trained dog and don’t want to spend a ton of time training their dog OR they don’t have time to train their dog. They want results without the time investment. In this program we go out every day Tuesday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday and we train the dog for them. They can be there or not be there during these DFY appointments. Then after 2-3 weeks of that, we simply show the owner what the dog learned through weekly 1-on-1’s how to work with their dog and make sure they are confident. This program is also a higher investment since we are doing more of the work for them and it is a higher level of service.

Week To Week Program Structure:

On-Leash Program (3 interchangeable lessons)

For On-Leash Programs, the prong collar will be introduced on the first lesson. You can start with any lesson you want to for On-Leash, but the most ideal lesson to start with is walking on leash. We want to start with loose leash and heel paired with door manners and password. This way we can get them immediate results as well as help them get their dogs energy out. This will in turn lower the dogs energy level and help with other bad behaviors.

Lesson 1: Heel, Door Manners, PW

Lesson 2: Place & Stay, Sit & Down + PW

Lesson 3: Come, Door manners + PW

Lesson 4: All commands

Note for two dogs: There is a 5th lesson added for a two dog program

OFF-LEASH

For Off-Leash Programs, the remote collar will be introduced on the SECOND lesson. With the Off-Leash program, we wan to start with the walking, door manners and passworod as a way to not only help get the client immediate results, but we also want to start the relationship with the dog positively. We want to start with loose leash and heel paired with door manners and password. This way we can get them immediate results as well as help them get their dogs energy out. This will in turn lower the dogs energy level and help with other bad behaviors.

Then once we do this, on the next lesson, we want to intro the remote collar (RC) for come when called (CWC). The reason for this, if you start with a RC on the first lesson and the dog doesn’t like it or the client doesn’t, the relationship starts poorly. Then we have to work out of a deficit. If we start with walking, which is fun for most dogs and their humans, we can start on a positive and then move into walking the dog on-leash.

Off-Leash (6 NON-INTERCHANGEABLE lessons unless there is some sort of dire emergency like the dog possibly running off and getting hit by a car, there is some sort of bad behavior that is dire and will result in the dog getting re-homed if not fixed immediately, etc.)

Lesson 1: Heel & Loose Leash, Door manners + Release Word - Prong collar intro

Lesson 2: Come when called with remote collar, Door manners + Release Word

Lesson 3: Come when called with remote collar (off-leash), Door manners + Release Word (teach client Doggie Ping Pong and Hide & Seek at this lesson)

Lesson 4: Place & Stay, Sit & Down + Release Word

Lesson 5: Place & Stay, Sit & Down + Release Word

Lesson 6: All commands

Note for two dogs: There is a 7th lesson added for a two dog program

PUPPY PROGRAM

Puppy programs include 3 puppy lessons typically & these lessons are interchangeable.

During the puppy lessons, the idea is to prep the dogs for their adult lessons and getting them ready to use their training collar. During these lessons we will be mostly only using only treats and using baiting and luring to teach them the basic behaviors. No training collars are used during puppy lessons!

Puppy Lessons (3 interchangeable lessons)

Lesson 1: Sit & Down

Lesson 2: Come (Doggie Ping Pong/Hide & Seek)

Lesson 3: Place & Stay

When can you start to implement collars with puppy training? We suggest waiting until the dog is 16-20 weeks. Some cases may need a collar before then and if that is the case, ask a Lead Trainer before hand for advice on what to do. Once you implement the collars, follow the sequences above depending on the program chosen!
