EVENT PLANNING: Holidays & National Days
Things to consider when planning a Wonder Dog event:
When- Will it only be? On a Saturday or also on Tuesday?
Where- Will you need a pavilion? Will it need to be at a park or indoor location?
Who- How many team members will you need to help to make the event run smoothly?
Tribe- How many people are allowed to attend the event?
What- What will you need? A backdrop for a photo booth? Canvases for doggy painting? A Santa for pictures in Dec? Goodie bags? Prizes?
Buy- Do you need to buy anything for the event? Are you having food, snacks, coffee, hot chocolate? Who will buy these things?
Time- How much time do you need for set up & break down? How far are the scheduled clients houses from the location for each DP?
A MUST- When planning an event, make sure you are crossing all your t’s and dotting all your i’s! This means you must keep the team updated in what you need from them before, during and after the event.
In your message you send the team on the #gamesgameplan thread on slack, make sure you include a detailed message like the example below.
