The Wonder Dog Tribe

Our pride and joy is our Tribe! We love our Tribe as it is filled with our people. Families who LOVE their dog and love their dog so much they’re willing to buy training, spend their time with us, volunteer for our events, etc.

WHAT IS THE TRIBE?

The Wonder Dog Tribe is a collective group of people and dogs that come together to have fun, socialize and do things with their dogs. Like we said above these are our people. The Tribe is our community.

The Tribe is also a monthly membership product that we have and sell to clients and non-clients that is billed monthly.

AS A DOG PRO WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE TRIBE?

TYPES OF MEMBERSHIPS

Basic Memberships - This membership is for the people who have a trained dog but wasn’t trained through Wonder Dog or people who had 1-2 lessons with us. Think of this like a doggy gym membership. A small monthly fee that gives you access to games, hikes, excursions, etc. and allows you to have fun with your dog.

Premium Memberships - This membership is for families who had their dog trained through Wonder Dog. These families did out on-leash, on-leash + or off-leash program. Think of the premium membership like Amazon Prime, a gym membership & Netflix combined. I know it’s a lot. In the next section we go over the specifics, but think of it like Prime in the sense that you get CRAZY value for a small dollar amount. An example is the insurance- which is unheard of in this industry(!) and phone access to their dog pro. Think of it as a gym membership in that they get to bring their dog out multiple times a week/month and work with their dog out around other dogs and distractions. The online part of the premium membership is like Netflix where they get access to all our online training materials.

PERKS OF JOINING THE TRIBE

Basic Tribe Member (Non-clients & 1-2 lesson clients) - As a Basic Tribe Member, they get to come to all of our basic events for a low monthly cost! They get to play games, hike, go on pack walks, excursions, etc all with their bestfriend.

Premium Tribe Member (Program clients) - As a Premium Tribe Member and someone who did training with us, they get a ton of stuff included in their memberships. Things like…

Each client who signs up with us gets a 3 month free trial of the premium tribe membership and then get the option to continue once their free trial is done with a monthly subscription.

WHAT IF A CLIENT NEEDS A REGRESSION LESSON BUT THEIR MEMBERSHIP EXPIRED?

If a client is in need of a regression lesson but their membership has expired, they will need to pay for a lesson at regular price and then they get 30 days free, but will be billed the following month at $15 a month to keep it active.

WHAT TO DO IF SOMEONE WANTS TO CANCEL

First thing would be to try to figure out why, alleviate their concerns and then let a LT know.

When you are talking to them, you want to let them know that if they cancel they will lose all the benefits. The benefits of the regression insurance (they call us, we come out and don’t bill them and the lesson cost is included in the small monthly fee.), the games/events/etc., access to the online content. They can join again if they would like later, however if they have to call us out for a lesson because the dog regresses then we would have to charge them for the lesson.

Overall, try to save it and tell a manager. If they still want to cancel we have another line of defense to keep people in the membership.
