Paying Referral Partners In The Network!

If you go back to Value #1 Deliver Wow, that is the whole point of paying referrals! We want to WOW people by sending them goodies when they refer their people to us, whether that is a business or a person!

Make sure to make it personal and go above and beyond for these people! They just sent us a deal!

Referrals

Referrals are the best type of leads. They almost ALWAYS close.

When you get a referral, we need to make sure to gift or pay the referrer.

Currently for individuals we are paying $50 per referral.

When paying someone who referred a new client to us, let them know we will be sending them a virtual gift card and we will get it for anywhere they want. Then, buy it off of Gyft.com using the company login and buy it from there.

Partner Referrals

When a partner in our network refers a new client to us, we handle things a bit differently. We typically want to bring in something for each person or the whole team so they all like us more and want to refer us more.

A few ideas for partnership referrals:

-Bring everyone GOOD coffee (Do this if there are 5 or less)

-Bring GOOD donuts (Do this if their are 5 or more)

-Bring GOOD pizza for them (Make sure to get sodas and breadsticks and the goodies)

-Chic-Fil-A for businesses with less than 5-7 people

-If more than 10 people will be there, maybe get it catered (tacos)

Make sure to call beforehand and figure out how many employees will be there so you order enough for everyone. While on the phone you may as well take their order too.

The idea of doing this is to not just feed them but to Wow them. Make them love us and want to send more people our way.

What NOT To Do…

When you’re paying the businesses that refer us business, there are a few things that you shouldn’t do in order to set the best impression.

1) Don’t show up unannounced. We say this because it can catch businesses off guard if you just show up with grub. Also, we want to build the anticipation of saying “Hey! We’re bring you Chic-Fil-A at this day and this time!”

2) Go at the time people actually eat. Don’t bring in breakfast and coffee at 11am. Don’t bring in pizza at 3pm or 4pm for “lunch”.

3) Don’t go cheap. If a business sends us a lead, let’s get them good food. So 2 Domino’s pizza is better than 5 Little Caeser’s.

4) If you say you’re going to be there on a certain day and time, actually show up…
