The Intro & Greeting

Knocking: Knock on the door or ring the doorbell.

Space: Step back about 6-8 feet so you are not crowding the door. Note: You don’t want to be right up on someones door when you knock and they open the door. So take 4-5 paces backwards and give them some space to open the door to let you in! This is a real life sales hack that makes people feel comfortable with you that no books talk about.

Upon Door Opening: Smile and wave and say your name and that you are with Wonder Dog. Note: We emphasize smile because it is so important!!

Ask: May I come in?

Shake their hand and look them in the eye and smile when you do this.

Compliment the dog.

Let them know that you have a worksheet to walk them through and try to move them to a seat if possible so you can talk about their dog, issues, goals, etc.

What To-Do If You Are Late

  1. Text them and let them know

  2. Say sorry about being late.

Example:

“Hey Mrs. Smith, this is Corey with Wonder Dog. I am going to be 5 minutes late today. Sorry for running behind! See you in a bit.”
